I’m beyond grateful to share that Count Creation was recently nominated for the Creative/Media Business Award at the inaugural Hillingdon Chamber of Commerce Business Awards.
This recognition came as a pleasant surprise, especially considering the incredible surroundings where the announcement was made—the House of Commons. It felt surreal to hear ‘Count Creation’ mentioned in such an esteemed space. For me, it’s more than just a nomination; it’s a reminder of the passion that drives my work. It’s also an opportunity to reflect on the people and every interaction that has contributed to Count Creation’s journey.
The name Count Creation was coined in my two-bedroom flat in Harrow, where I lived at the time. The idea behind “Count” is simple: if something matters, it ‘counts.’ The “Creation” part came from the desire to craft through design, visuals, and more.
The event at the House of Commons was made even more special by the inspiring speeches from Kim McGearty, Andy Sharma of the Hillingdon Chamber of Commerce, and Danny Beales, MP for Uxbridge and South Ruislip. Once the speeches were over, the nominees were announced, setting the stage for a truly powerful experience.
Looking back on the past eight years, Count Creation has had the privilege of collaborating with businesses of all sizes across Greater London and beyond. I’ve had the opportunity to help startups define their brand identities and partnered with established companies to refine their presence. We’ve created the look, feel, and design for events held in places like Jordan, Wembley Stadium, and Wembley Arena. Every project is an opportunity to craft design that communicates and aligns with the client’s goals.
The Count Creation approach is simple: we focus on understanding each business we work with and crafting cohesive, impactful design solutions.
Throughout my education and career, I’ve seen how design and visual communication help us progress and create lasting impressions. Design is almost like a superpower, to change narratives and inspire action. In today’s fast-paced world, it is fundamental to business growth. Healthcare, hospitality, and technology brands, in particular, can make a real difference through a design-led approach.
Moving to Hillingdon some seven years ago and becoming part of the Hillingdon Chamber of Commerce community and being recognised by the Chamber is a personal milestone.
But it’s also a reflection of something deeper: the trust that has been placed in the work that I do. It’s that belief in our work that drives us to push boundaries and continue evolving with every opportunity that comes with design and communication.
A huge thank you to every friend, client, partner, and supporter who’s been part of Count Creation’s journey. Shoutout to my past bosses and mentors (you know who you are).
The awards ceremony is just around the corner, taking place at the Sheraton Skyline Heathrow Hotel this January. Excited to celebrate alongside the other talented nominees from within the region.
